Recipes / Tahini Sauce

Simple sauce that packs a punch. Goes particularly well with chickpeas and chard.
Ingredients
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp tahini paste
Juice of 1 lemon
5 tablespoons water
salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Crush the garlic in a pestle and mortar
2. Transfer to a small bowl and whisk in the tahini, lemon juice and the water until you have the consistency of cream.
3. Season with salt and pepper.
