Honey and mustard dressing

This is my staple salad dressing for summer lettuce but it's also delicious in the winter over potatoes.
Houmous

Good houmous is all about the texture - it's got to be smooth - not thick and gloopy. And that means getting your hands on a good blender and using the water from the boiled chick peas to smooth out the lumps.
Mayonnaise

Okay, you can buy it in a jar and it tastes pretty good - but with a big pile of hot chips, nothing cuts the mustard quite like home-made mayonnaise.
Mint pea dip

A three step recipe that takes about 5 minutes to make. Amazing with fish or as a dip with crudites.
Olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip

Okay - this seems a tad obvious but it's a good one to remember when the fridge is empty of toppings. Use good quality oil or one that's flavoured with garlic and herbs.
Pippa's Beetroot Chutney

This beetroot chutney is brilliant for the end of season beetroots and the last of the apples.
You can eat it straight away but it's best it you let if mature for a couple of months.
Roasted carrot and carroway dip

Granted this recipe sounds a bit weird - but I guarantee its more than moorish. And it's a great lunchbox filler - or mid-morning snack.
Roasted tomato sauce

This roasted tomato sauce is rich, tasty and perfect for pasta. A great recipe for when you have a glut of tomatoes from your garden. Cook up and freeze.
Salsa

Salsa - the perfect addition to a summer BBQ.
Tahini Sauce

Simple sauce that packs a punch. Goes particularly well with chickpeas and chard.
Tzatziki

The ultimate summer dish, tzatziki is super easy to make and is a winner with fish, chicken or just plain bread.
