BBC food and farming awards 2011
Last night the winners for this years BBC Food and Farming awards were announced.
Hosted by Shelia Dillon of Radio4’s the Food Programme, the awards honoured the great and the good in the food and farming world with awards to recgonise everything from campaigning, to baking to takeaways.
The award for best “Dinner Lady” went to Wayne Wright, Harper Adams University College, Shropshire. And the best food champion to Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall for his work with Fish Fight.
